For the second unit of my Photography Basics, I had to create a series of images as follows:
Lines – three different and distinct types (From Man Made Structures)
Man-Made Environments – Interiors & Exteriors (2 each)
Geometrical forms & Organic forms
My vehicle was down when I completed this, so I was limited to my acreage for this assignment. I feel like I didn’t quite have enough guidance for it. Or at least, my syllabus didn’t incorporate any instruction on lines and structure to coincide with this assignment. I used lines as defined in my 2D Element and Principles course.
There are a lot of lines and angles in and around my property, in both natural and manmade structures. It’s interesting to see my world in shapes and textures. I did spend more time using “sharpening” and will have to start using lens corrections more than I have been.
