A New Moon tarot draw for insight, self-reflection, and creative momentum.
The New Moon is a natural point to pause, reflect, and notice what feels ready to shift or grow. I use Tarot here not to predict the future, but as a tool for perspective — a way to explore ideas, questions, and possibilities you might not have considered yet.
Choose the card that draws your attention. Each one includes a Card Insight, Reflection Questions, Symbols & Themes you may recognize in your creative or personal life, and a Mantra to carry with you through the month.

Jade - King of Cups

Card Insight
Emotions are not useless. They are not something to look down or hide from. A trues master recognizes what they are feeling and allows it to guide them. Emotions can be fuel, and like all fuel, you must learn how much t use, but used appropriately, they can help you build entire worlds. You guide and channel your emotions, don’t let them channel you.
Reflection Questions
- Do you feel that you have mastered your emotions? Why or why not?
- Where are your emotions guiding you and how do you feel about that?
- Where do you need more flow in your life and what can you do to aid in that?
- Reflect on a time when your emotions got the better of you.

Card Insight
Sometimes the right thing to do is to take a step back. Give yourself a little space from the problems so that solutions can show up. This is the time to walk away for a little bit. If you are working on a creative problem and feel stuck, go do some dishes, take a walk, or even a 20-minute nap. If the problem is much bigger, then go out for the day, or a weekend, and think about other things. When you return, you will feel a bit more clear.
Reflection Questions
- What problems are you working on right now? Write down the problem and what kind of resolution you are hoping for. Then walk away, allow this percolate while you do other things.
- Do you build in space for things to “rest” before they are completed?
- Reflect on a time when you struggled with something and walking away for a little while helped bring you an aha moment.
- Do you allow yourself time to just sit and be? Why or why not?

Card Insight
Everyone needs a quest, right? We love quests. They are adventures that help us grow. Deep inside, something is calling you, inviting you to change course, and discover something new about yourself. This might be something as small as trying a new restaurant or as big as booking a trip. Only you will know what your soul is calling for. Will you answer the call?
Reflection Questions
- What quest does your soul want to accept?
- What about this quest are you afraid of?
- What rewards may come out of this quest?
- Reflect on quests you have previously taken and how they have shaped the person you are today.
